‘Loculus’ participating at SCHLiNGEL IFF

Iranian short film ‘Loculus’ is participating at the 26th SCHLiNGEL Int’l Film Festival for Children and Young Audience in Germany.

‘Loculus’ by Amir Rooini is taking part in the Short Film category of SCHLiNGEL IFF.

“Power is out in the cemetery's mortuary. The mortuary's personnel realize that something’s wrong due to the stinking smell. There's also a corpse there, belonging to a ten-year-old boy’s mom,” a synopsis for the film reads.

Earlier reports said Iranian features ‘Sun Children’, ‘Wolf Cubs of the Apple Valley’, and ‘Playful’ are also participating in the German festival.

‘Sun Children’ is taking part in the Junior Film category of the SCHLiNGEL International Film Festival.

‘Playful’ by Nadereh Torkamani is participating in the Children’s Film category at the SCHLiNGEL IFF, while ‘Wolf Cubs of the Apple Valley’ by Fereydoun Najafi is taking part in the Panorama category of the German event.

The 26th edition of the SCHLiNGEL International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience opened on Saturday and will run until October 16.
